Past Workshops
Much of the work carried out by the Northeast Regional Research Center is conducted in the form of workshops. The goal of all these workshops is to bing together the very best experts at our NRRC facilities (at the MITRE Corporation in Bedford, Massachusetts) to work together for a short, intense period on some challenging problem of interest to the Intelligence Community. The experts invited to lead and participate in these workshops come from industry, academia, government and non-profit research laboratories, and they usually bring a multiplicity of technical viewpoints on any particular workshop topic focus. The NRRC is funded by ARDA , and the workshop topics are aligned with active ARDA "thrust areas." Calls for new workshops are disseminated every year, usually but no always in late summer.
